We just finished 7 weeks with Jeff and my bulldog, Jes, is missing him. She loves Jeff. He was phenomenal with her. I brought him a pup that chewed shoes and thought she was the leader of the pack and I got back a respectful dog who understands her place in the family
She sits, stays, leaves it, goes to bed. She walks nicely on a leash - which is really important for us because she's very strong. And the most wonderful thing is she comes when called. She not only comes for me, but she comes for all family members.
All of this was accomplished through love and fun. I could tell Jeff really loved Jes.
But Jeff didn't only teach Jes. He taught me. He taught me how to be a good leader for Jes. How to know when she was feeling stressed and how to make her feel calm.
If you awe at those dog trainers on TV, you should go see Jeff. He's every bit as good as the Dog Whisperer and the British woman. And he's right here in the Twin Cities.

I thought I'd send you a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed Jeff's puppy class.
Jeff is amazing with dogs. Every time we'd do an exercise, Jeff was able to demonstrate on any puppy in the room including mine, which always gave me confidence that it is possible to train my wild puppy! Jeff kept things interesting, and just seemed very passionate about dogs and dog training. I was skeptical about spending so much money on a 4-week class, but it was totally worth it.

Hi Jeff, McDuff's afternoon walk was excellent. Just a bit of pulling on his part. We even passed a dog across the street which would normally incite him to bark and tug like crazy but, he was so busy respecting his boundaries that he barely noticed the dog! He is doing so great with the new harness and the walking commands, I can barely believe it!

We've been working with Bhumi on the stays and he's really doing great with the sitting and staying now! It was helpful last week to see how you would work with the dogs on all the things: stay, leave it, etc. Your class moves along well and you do a good job of relaying the concepts.
