Maureen Haggerty is the founder of The Canine Coach and has developed a special way of training both dogs and people which produces amazing results. All of the trainers at The Canine Coach have been personally trained by Maureen Haggerty in her effective method of training. Maureen and Amy are a certified dog trainers (CPDTs) by the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers, the only national certification for dog trainers. Lynn is a Certified Veterinary Technician with extensive years of training experience. We are all professional members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, which means that we advocate and practice gentle, dog-friendly methods of training, and are in discussion with other APDT members throughout the country and abroad on a regular basis.

With training over 3000 dogs per year, and well over 100 years of experience combined, we have the experience to come up with training solutions quickly, so you get results faster. We train obedience, canine behavior modification classes and classes just for fun! We specialize in modifying aggressive behavior.

We are active in keeping our skills and education up-to-date through industry seminars, conferences, and workshops, involvement with training clubs, competitions, and through daily dialog with colleague trainers across the country and abroad. We also learn, probably the most, through meeting pet owner's and their dogs and training through their individual problems.

We look forward to meeting you and talking with you about your dog!
