Our Boot Camp Graduates have been asking for a daycare-like program where their dogs can return to their trusted trainers in a familiar location for training and play. Ask, and you shall receive! The Canine Coach is proud to present Club K9 - a unique ongoing day program that is ready to unleash the power of PLAY! Club K9 offers two options, Play & Train and Party Pups!

Participation in Club K9 is open to all Boot Camp Alumni! Puppies and Dogs must have attended at least one Boot Camp program in the past in order to register for Club K9 days. 

Club K9 is scheduled a la carte - your dog can attend as little or as much as you’d like during the week. There are no ongoing attendance requirements. As long as your dog has attended a Boot Camp program in the past, you are welcome to join us for Club K9!

Club K9’s Play & Train program is the perfect mix of playtime and training! Each day, our Play & Train dogs will receive one training session with a Boot Camp trainer to refresh the skills learned in their Boot Camp program, along with three playtime sessions! Between training and play sessions, dogs will rest in their kennels, just like they did at Boot Camp. This program is perfect for dogs that enjoyed playgroups at camp and would benefit from ongoing socialization with supervision as well as proofing for their obedience skills.

Club K9’s Party Pups program is all about the play! Each day, our Party Pups will receive four playtime sessions. Between play sessions, dogs will rest in their kennels, just like they did at Boot Camp. This program is perfect for dogs that enjoyed playgroups at camp and would benefit from ongoing socialization with supervision.

Club K9 takes place in one of our spacious indoor training facilities where we can structure separate areas for one-on-one training, off-leash play, and crated nap time. Just like Boot Camp, this is a structured environment. Dogs attending Club K9 will spend time in each area throughout the day, including time in their crate. Crate time gives the dogs time to rest between activities, as well as ensuring that the trainer is able to focus on each dog individually during their training sessions.

Preregistration is required - no exceptions! We have a very limited number of dogs that can attend Club K9 on a daily basis in order to provide a quality experience to each dog. We have several sign up options available designed to fit a variety of schedules and needs. Packages can be purchased below in the sign up area. Additional openings, based on space at the facility, are added on a regular basis, usually on Friday each week for the following week. Check back often for upcoming and last minute openings.

In the event of a fully booked week during your 8 week package range, your package expiration date will be automatically extended.

Sign up and package purchases are done using Acuity Scheduling. Please allow a moment for the sign up box below to load. You'll be able to do all scheduling online using Acuity. We recommend creating an account with Acuity at the end of your first registration to allow for faster sign up in the future!

Holiday Closures

Club K9 holiday closures will match boot camp closures. For the rest of 2023, this means Club K9 will be CLOSED on the following dates:

• Thursday 11/23

• Friday 11/24

• Monday 12/25 through Friday 12/29

Morning Drop Off

Drop Off Times: Drop off anytime between 7:00am and 9:00am.

Any dog dropped off after 9am will forfeit at least one play session that day. Doors will be locked at 9:30am, and no further drop-offs will be accepted. There are no refunds for missed drop-offs.

Afternoon/Evening Pick Up

Pick Up Times: anytime between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. For Play & Train Dogs, we'll have a write up on our board of the skills we worked on during your dog’s training session that day. For all Club K9 Dogs, we’ll have a list of playgroups on our board so you know who your dog played with that day. 

LATE PICKUPS: Because our Day Program staff leave the facility at 6 PM, a late fee of $20 will be invoiced for any dog picked up after 6 PM.

We have expanded Club K9 to include spots in South Minneapolis and St Louis Park. We hope to expand to all Boot Camp locations in the future!

Cancellation and reschedules for Club K9 must be received at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time in order to receive a refund. Acuity Scheduling will allow you to make changes to your appointments using the links emailed to you at sign up. Otherwise, please contact us and we can help!

Dogs must be up to date on rabies (if over 4 months old), distemper, and bordatella. There is an area during Club K9 registration where you can upload a copy of your dog's vaccination records, or you can ask your vet to email us a copy as well. It is the client's responsibility to ensure we receive vaccination records, and that all vaccines are up to date. If your dog attended Boot Camp recently and their vaccination information is the same as it was for your Boot Camp program, just let us know during registration.
