Jan 6th 2022: Masks are REQUIRED for all staff and clients, both vaccinated and unvaccinated. We are allowing two adults per class registration to attend our in-person group classes. Alternatively, we are also allowing one adult parent/guardian to attend with one child, age 12 or up. No children under 12 years old may attend in-person group classes at this time. All our facilities are equipped with Wifi and you are welcome to Zoom, Facetime, or otherwise virtually connect with other family at home during class time.
The Canine Coach is currently transitioning between our old admin system and our new admin system for Group Classes. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this change for our students. Please see below for an explanation on how to schedule your group class make up session depending on your enrollment date (which determines if you are in the old or new admin system).
If you registered AFTER 10am on Thursday December 9th, you are in the NEW ADMIN system. Your confirmation email would have been titled "Paid Registration Received for Training with The Canine Coach" and the website sign up page would have been blue, grey, and black in color.
If you registered PRIOR to 10am on Thursday December 9th, you are in the OLD ADMIN system. Your confirmation email would have been titled "You are confirmed in a class with The Canine Coach" and the website sign up page would have been green and orange in color.
If you have to miss a week of class, you and your dog can make it up with some exceptions. If you miss a session from a class, you can make up that session in another class anytime up to a month after your class ends. You can attend another session at any location.
Exceptions for Make Up Classes - for the following classes, the make up session is human only. These make up sessions are without your dog.
Level 1 - Week 1*

Leash Walking - Week 1*
Dog to Dog Socialization - All weeks**
Dog to Human Socialization - All weeks**
Leash Aggression - Weeks 1-3**
*We've found that having extra dogs on these particular weeks of class usually ends up being too much of a distraction and impedes learning for the group. However, we want people to be able to attend the lecture portions if possible, which is why we have the human-only makeup option.

If you registered within our new admin system, please refer to your initial class confirmation email to schedule your make up classes. There is a link that will direct you to the private make up schedule where you can select a session that works for you.
Please ensure you are selecting the same session number that you are missing. For example, if you are missing Week 3 of Level 1 Obedience, you must select another Week 3 on the schedule list.
Your make up link from the confirmation email will only work once by default. If you need to miss more than one session, just email the main office (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will adjust your link to allow for the number of missed classes you need.
If you registered within our old admin system, look at our calendar below and find another session that works for you and your schedule. You can click the blue arrow in the top right corner to adjust which locations are displayed, and the menu options directly next to the arrow allow you change the view between Week, Month, and Agenda.
Email us at email@example.com once you've found a session that works for you, so we can ensure there is room and let the trainer know you are coming. If there is already a make up student scheduled we will you know so you can select a different session to attend.
