This class is for puppies 8 to 16 weeks old at the start of class. Class covers puppy obedience, self control, building a relationship together, biting, chewing, jumping, socialization, and more!
These are supervised sessions that provide a safe, warm, and clean area for young pups to have positive experiences with each other, other people, and their environment. Puppy Social hours are for current, recent, or future registered students of Puppy Training & Socialization Group Class, Puppy Boot Camp, or Puppy Mini-Courses.
This class is the perfect starting point for group class training for dogs over 4 months old. We'll teach you how to train your dog, and you'll learn to teach the basics... from sit to come to stay, and much more!
This class builds on your Level 1 Obedience or Basic Boot Camp Program skills! Level 1.5 class is all about owner accountability, awareness, and follow-through! We are going to help you with your exuberant dog, and teach you and your dog management and follow-thru!
This class builds on your Level 1.5 Obedience skills. We'll use increasingly challenging distractions and realistic training scenarios to help perfect the behaviors you've already learned with your dog, as well as learn new behaviors such as heeling with attention!
Sharpen your obedience skills! We will spend time both at our facility and out on the town to visit various dog friendly (indoor) venues to work on you and your dog's obedience skills and public manners.
This class addresses not jumping on guests at the door, spontaneous neighbor visits in the yard, encountering people on walks, jumping on the kids, and more!
If walking your dog seems like a chore, this is the class for you. Learn to have your dog walk at your side without pulling or lagging behind. In the Spring/Summer/Fall we'll meet at the facility and at local lakes and parks. In the winter we will meet at the facility and, weather permitting, take neighborhood walks around our facilities.
This seasonal class, offered in the fall and early winter, covers all the skills you need to tackle the holidays! We will cover door greeting, begging for food, counter surfing, and more!
This class is designed to help you achieve a reliable recall even at a distance and with distractions. Your dog will have a blast at our fully-fenced one acre outdoor training facility! Offered Spring to Fall.
Learn how to comfortably introduce your dog to another dog. Class dogs will have good social experiences with other dogs, and you'll gain the skills you need to handle your dog around other dogs.
This class builds on the skills learned in our Dog to Dog Socialization for REACTIVE Dogs class AND introduces new things like agility, scent work, tricks and continued controlled social interactions set up specifically for graduates of our Dog to Dog class.
This class is for dogs that can react towards unfamiliar people (non-family members), even though at other times, like outside the home, they may act quite shy or nervous around strangers.
This class is for dogs that lunge, bark, growl, or otherwise act crazy when they see another dog while on their leashed walks. Three class sessions are held indoors, and three are held at a local park or lake.
This class is for graduates of our Leash Aggression class! This is a season class offered in the spring and early summer to help get back on track with leash skills after a long winter inside! All sessions are held outside.
This class is for dogs that are shy and afraid of other dogs, people, noises, etc. Dogs enrolled in this class should choose to *retreat* instead of *react* at their triggers.
This class builds on the skills learned in our Confidence Building for Shy Dogs class AND introduces new things like agility, scent work, tricks and more advanced social interactions set up specifically for graduates of our Shy Dog class.
This class will spend three sessions working on the test items of the AKC's Canine Good Citizen test, and on the 4th week of class a CGC Evaluator will test all the dogs.
Rally is a fun and exciting team sport for dogs and their handlers! Teams navigate a course with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform. Rally is great for relationship building!
This class covers the skills and knowledge you'll need as a therapy dog team. We do a lot of role playing of different visiting situations, and do mock evaluations to practice for the real one.
This is the final step towards becoming a registered therapy dog team with Therapy Dogs International. We recommend having completed our Therapy Dog group class prior to taking the test.
Impress your family and friends with what you and your dog can do! This class goes over a variety of tricks from sit pretty, to wave, to roll over, and more!
This class provides an opportunity to have a fun outing with our beautiful senior "sugar-faced" dogs. We will do age-appropriate activities that will stimulate their minds and bodies, build their confidence, give them a purpose, get them out of their rut, help them age gracefully, and have fun! Every activity is designed to be an opportunity for you to deepen your bond with your dog.
This class is all about trying new things! Each week is a different topic or sport that you will get to learn about and try out the foundation skills with your dog. This class covers basic sport skills like toy play, tricks, and teamwork, and will practice treibball, disc dog, scent work, and agility for fun!
Puppy Agility is all about FUN EXPERIENCES that are safe and promote teamwork between owner and pup. Class covers LOW IMPACT puppy agility equipment like tunnels, wobble boards, planks, jump uprights (no bars), cones, and skills like impulse control, team work, toy play, and communication. This class is enriching to your pup's mental & physical health, and all exercises are designed with young dogs in mind.
Fun, invigorating, and a great way to exercise your dog. Agility for Fun is all about teamwork and having a good time with your pup. This is not a competition prep course.
Take your Agility for Fun skills to the next level with Agility 2! We'll run harder courses, play more games, and learn new handling skills to keep you and your dog having fun while playing agility!
This is for graduates of our Agility for Fun or Agility 2 class! Join us for one session of agility practice. There will be a course set up that teams will take turns running under the supervision of a trainer.
Run run RUUUNNNN is the name of this game! Dogs take turns in our fully fenced Sport Park to chase the artificial lure around a set course. This is great activity to exercise your dog in a safe and fun way!
This class is CURRENTLY ON PAUSE for 2023 due to machine issues.
This activity is great for all dogs of all activity levels! Dogs learn to sniff out and indicate a specific scent that has been hidden. This game is great for rainy days and sunny days alike!
This is for graduates of our Scent Work class class! Join us for one session of scent work practice. There will be search areas set up that teams will take turns running under the supervision of a trainer.
This class covers the basics of disc dog (frisbee dog) including Toss & Catch and Freestyle! Teams will learn and practice a basic freestyle routine, as well as sharpen their skills in other disc games.
This is for graduates of our Disc Dog class or dogs that already play disc. Join us for one session of disc dog games practice! There will be a field measured and set up, and teams will take turns playing different UpDog games under the supervision of a trainer.
Urban herding for all dogs! Dogs learn to move an exercise ball around the field and into the set goal area. Owner and dog have to work together to make this happen!
